The entire program is delivered in English; the language used every day by airlines, airports, manufacturers, and aviation organizations worldwide. By graduation, using aviation English becomes natural rather than something you need to learn later.
Your lecturers are not only academics. Classes are taught by airport managers, airline specialists, aviation consultants, and industry leaders with years of international experience. Instead of discussing aviation only from textbooks, you learn how decisions are made in airports, airlines, and aviation organizations operating in a rapidly changing global market.
Internships are an integral part of the program and often become the first step toward a professional career. You can gain experience at airports, aviation companies, and organizations connected with the aviation sector. At the same time, you build a network of professional contacts, understand how the industry operates from the inside, and strengthen your position on the job market before earning your degree.
The program combines aviation knowledge with analytical thinking, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. The combination of industry knowledge, English-language education, and practical experience creates a strong foundation for an international career.
Modern aviation management requires quick thinking and informed decision-making. That is why selected courses use project-based learning, simulations, mentoring, and decision-making games, including activities related to airline network management. Instead of memorizing theory, you learn how to analyze data, solve operational problems, and make decisions similar to those taken by aviation managers. As part of the Safety Management course, you can prepare for the SMS certification exam. The certification confirms your competence in risk and safety management – skills highly valued across the aviation industry and other safety-critical sectors.

Students will acquire knowledge about the determinants of marketing strategy as a philosophy of business operation in the air transport market.
Students will also be able to formulate strategies for air transport operators in various areas and at various organizational levels.
Students will be able to explain the legal principles governing the functioning of the ground handling services market in Europe and apply legal standards and regulations in the area of ground handling management at airports.
Students have knowledge of the infrastructure and operations of the public area of an airport and its services.
Students are familiar with the basic regulations governing the functioning of security systems in aviation organizations.
Students are able to explain the principles and consequences of implementing sustainable aviation standards in airlines and airports.
Students are able to analyze economic phenomena affecting airline network management and assess the rationality of decisions made.
Students will be able to discuss how the Flight Control System works and the legal regulations behind it.
Students will gain knowledge about aircraft incidents, notifications, investigations, reports, as well as the key role of the human factor and communication in crisis management.

Lufthansa is one of the largest airlines in the world and a highly respected employer in the aviation industry. Through a partnership agreement, experts from Lufthansa are actively involved in developing the curriculum for the Aviation Management program at UITM. As a result, the educational content aligns with the real needs of the aviation market, and students gain knowledge that meets international standards and industry expectations.
LOT Polish Airlines is the national carrier and one of the oldest airlines in the world. UITM’s collaboration with LOT includes the involvement of industry experts in developing study plans and course content, ensuring that the curriculum reflects the realities of the rapidly evolving aviation market. A testament to the quality of education is the fact that several Aviation Management graduates have been hired by LOT – a clear sign of the partnership’s success.
Warsaw Modlin Airport is one of the key airports in Poland, specializing in passenger traffic services. Thanks to a partnership agreement, airport experts are involved in developing study plans and course content for the Aviation Management program, and students have the opportunity to complete internships directly at the airport. It is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and understand the specifics of airport operations management in real-world conditions.
