Ph.D. in social sciences in the field of political sciences (the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Journalism and Political Sciences, 2014), MA in cultural studies (Jagiellonian University, Faculty of International and Political Studies, 2008), BA in political science (the University of Rzeszów, Faculty of Sociology and History, 2006 ), BA in journalism and social communication (the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów, Faculty of Administration and Information Technology, 2006).
Her research interests focus on the issues of contemporary migration and media, the presence of ethnic and national problems in the media, with an emphasis on new media and social networks, and the mediatization of migration.
Individual tutor in the School of Leaders and Masters of Didactics project. Research tutor for gifted students. Author of media courses and workshops, and – as vice-dean – of comprehensive study programs in media and communication. Supervisor of the „Marketing and Media” Science Club and Coordinator of the intro.media student editorial office (since 2013). An expert in the field of social media and contemporary communication. In 2006-2008, she was an associate of the newsroom of the Polish Radio Rzeszów, she also published in the local online press. Thematic editor of the journal „Social Communication. Online Journal”.
Participant of the international research team of 16 womxn researchers, studying the impact of the pandemic on the academic work of women and non-binary persons (read more on Covid G.A.P. project).
From 1.10.2023 Dean of the Faculty of Media and Social Communication. From 2015-2019, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences of UITM in the fields of Journalism and Social Communication as well as Digital Media and Branding; from 2015 to 2016 – also in Computer Graphics and Multimedia Production.
