Cyber Discovery News – cdn24.info – is the first fully automated platform in Poland that aggregates key news, analyses, and recommendations related to digital security. The project was created by researchers at the University of Information Technology and Management (UITM) to support experts, students, and individuals seeking reliable and up-to-date knowledge in the fields of cybersecurity, cybercrime prevention, and countering disinformation.
More than a conventional newsletter, cdn24.info constitutes a dynamic information ecosystem that employs advanced artificial intelligence tools to analyse trends, generate article summaries, produce podcasts, monitor incidents, and publish security alerts in near real time. By promoting authors and the legitimate sources that publish their work, the platform supports Polish and international industry media, broadening the reach of high-quality information to interested audiences.

International perspective
- “The project aligns with the international and pioneering initiative ‘Academics for Security’, launched by the UITM Cybersecurity Center, and reflects the principle that ‘information has value only when it is current, comprehensible, and credible’. Through process automation and the involvement of moderators from multiple countries, users receive clear and timely summaries of key global developments without the need to monitor numerous sources,” states Artur Wojciechowski, Director of the UITM Cybersecurity Center.
- “A unique distinguishing feature of the project is precisely its international outlook. cdn24.info is expanding its collaboration with academic partners across Europe and beyond, with a key element of this strategy being cooperation with the SUNRISE project. Lecturers and students from foreign universities will be able to co-create and moderate the global knowledge base, promote and share their work, and jointly publish content translated, among others, into English. The project also includes a system for promoting student research as well as tools for initiating international internships and placements,” adds Kamil Dembowski, Head of the UITM Cybersecurity Center.
An innovative solution
The cdn24.info newsletter represents a novel and forward-looking response to the increasing number of incidents and the growing informational chaos within the field of digital security. Developed under the guidance of UITM researchers, the platform has the potential to contribute to the development of an international compendium of cybersecurity threats, created collaboratively by academic communities and industry experts.
“We invite all interested parties to collaborate and to join a community committed to professional and transnational efforts to enhance digital security,” say Artur Wojciechowski and Kamil Dembowski
