Habilitated Doctor in Social Sciences in the discipline of Economics and Finance (Poland). Doctor of Economic Sciences in the field of Environmental Economics and Nature Use (Ukraine, Lviv, 2016); Professor in Public Administration, Documentation Studies and Information Activity (Ukraine, Rivne, 2016). Master’s degree in Civil Service (National University of Water and Environmental Engineering, Rivne, Ukraine, 2014).
Additional qualifications: Ecologist (National University of Water and Environmental Engineering, Rivne, Ukraine, 2003); specialization in Administrative Management, qualification: Manager–Economist (State Technical University, Rivne, 2000).
Awarded projects and distinctions: Lane Kirkland Programme (2022); Visegrad Fund Project – Individual Grant (2023, 2025); Ivan Vyhovskyi Award (research fellowship associated with the award, 2025), international project «Innovation University and Leadership. Phase of the Institute. Innovation and attitude to others» (2017), project coordinator group of students in American project «X-Culture» with the University of North Carolina (USA, 2017). Head of a state-funded research project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine entitled “Information Support for Managing the Environmental and Economic Security of the State under Conditions of Military and Political Instability” (2017–2020). Deputy Director for International and Grant Activities at the Institute of Education and Research in Economics and Management (2016–2017). Member of specialized academic council for habilitation defenses. Supervisor of successfully defended doctoral dissertations and three PhD theses. Academician of the Academy of Economic Sciences of Ukraine. Expert of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (2018-2024).
Has professional experience as a Senior Consultant at the Research Service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, specializing in foresight and strategic analysis (2023-2024).
Seminar and Doctoral Dissertation Topics:
The potential topics of seminars and doctoral dissertations focus on the green economy and an economic and systemic approach to environmental protection and sustainable development. They include issues related to the economic valuation of biodiversity, green finance, sustainable food systems, environmental foresight, and the application of artificial intelligence in environmental analysis and management. Particular attention is also paid to climate change adaptation and strategic planning in line with the principles of sustainable development.

1. Green economy and green finance:
• Models of green economy development at regional and sectoral levels;
• The role of green finance in the energy and ecological transformation of enterprises;
• Public policy instruments supporting pro-environmental investments;
• Economic determinants of implementing circular economy principles;
• Environmental risk and investment strategies of financial institutions.
2. Economic valuation and biodiversity management:
• Methods of economic valuation of ecosystem services;
• Biodiversity as natural capital – cost-based and benefit-based approaches;
• Valuation of environmental losses resulting from infrastructure investments;
• Indicators and tools for assessing the impact of economic activity on nature;
• Practical examples of biodiversity offsetting in spatial planning.
3. Sustainable development and a systemic approach to planning:
• Local sustainable development strategies – case study analysis;
• Integrated spatial and environmental planning approaches;
• Implementation of the 2030 Agenda at the local government level;
• Indicators for monitoring progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals;
• Social participation as a component of effective sustainable governance.
4. Artificial intelligence and new technologies in environmental protection:
• Application of AI in environmental data analysis and change forecasting;
• Automation of environmental monitoring – practical applications;
• Use of machine learning in environmental risk assessment;
• AI-based environmental decision support systems;
• The potential of digitalization in biodiversity conservation.
5. Sustainable food systems and agricultural economics:
• Transformation of food systems in the context of sustainable development;
• Organic farming and agroecology – challenges and development opportunities;
• Local food systems as a tool for social resilience;
• Agricultural economics in the context of climate change adaptation;
• Assessment of the environmental footprint of food production.
6. Environmental foresight and climate change adaptation:
• Development scenarios in the context of the climate crisis;
• Foresight tools in planning ecosystem adaptation and resilience;
• Spatial climate risk analyses for selected regions;
• Adaptation strategies in local and regional policies;
• Stakeholder participation in the development of climate scenarios.
Additional skills: grant acquisition and project activities, knowledge of the budgetary process, familiarity with European tax systems, project management, public administration theory, and nature conservation.
