dr inż. Atsuo Murata, prof. WSIiZ

I received my master’s and doctorate degrees in industrial engineering from Osaka Prefectural University (now Osaka Metropolitan University) in 1985 and 1987, respectively. Until September this year, I lived in Hiroshima and worked at Okayama University (professor, Department of Intelligent Mechanical Systems, Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology).

My research interests are: industrial engineering, ergonomics and cognitive science. My research activities are interdisciplinary. I think that knowledge in the field of IT and Big Data will further enrich my research. I am currently collaborating with American and Japanese researchers. My favorite sport is Baseball, although it is not very popular here. In my free time I watch movies and read Nicholas Sparks’ books.
